1) Do I need a consultation?

Each look is custom down to the hair color, texture and length desired. The IBK consultation was created to explain the options available for different budgets. 2) How much do hair extensions cost?

Since we guarantee your satisfaction you get to bring us your budget and we will find the perfect solution for you! We also have a variety of solutions for small budgets including our very own hair piece line called The Bump.

3) Do you have to use special products for my hair extensions?

Most products are compatible with the the various IBK hair extension methods. Bring in your favorite products and we'll discuss them at your consultation. Image by Kimarie has tested products that we feel will give you the same or better results and work well with our extension methods.

4) How long does it take?

A normal full head application will take approximately 3-5 hours and includes the blending cut.

5) How does it work?

IBK uses 100% real human hair locking system vs. glue or braiding, which we feel is the safest system available. We also have expertise in hair piece applications like wefts and falls plus other hair enhancement methods. We will always pick what's best for your hair type and your budget!

6) Can I color and highlight my hair with extensions?

You can do any hair process with your hair extension however we always recommend that they are done by a professional.

7) How long does the hair last?

The hair we use is 100% full cuticle and made to be reusable, therefore if the hair is maintained well it should last you for as long as you want to wear them and beyond. If you decide to change looks you can also store the hair for reuse later.

8) How often do I need to get my hair done after the initial application?

Most clients will visit our studio every 2-3 months for maintenance. Of course, this may vary depending on growth and or natural shedding.

9) My hair is curly... can I get straight hair extensions?

If the hair is very curly it can be dominated to be "less" curly with the use of hair extensions but it is not recommended to put two extreme hair textures next to each other because it loses it's natural appearance. You can use straightening products on the hair extensions and we can show you ways to achieve a sleek straight look with curly hair.

10) Are these hair extensions put on with glue?

No glue, sewing, braiding or heat is used to apply any of our extension methods.

11) If my hair is damaged from chemicals; can I have hair extensions put in?

Yes, Absolutely! It is the safest thing to protect your hair while it is growing out. Our utmost concern is to protect your hair from any damage so that you can improve your look with confidence. In some cases clients experience hair growth and fortification because the extensions force them to stop over processing. And as always, we test strand at your consultation. 12) How long does my own hair have to be?

It can be as short as 1" long - we have made miracles happen with very short hair due to either a bad cut or medical interactions such as cancer treatments.

13) Can I change my hair color with extensions or have my hair straightened or relaxed?

Yes you can! You can do virtually any chemical service on your hair professionally or use hair extensions to highlight and change your look.
